The family is even an essential part of the American Dream thatwe Americans are so fond of. The basic idea of success in America is deliberateby how well one can provide for their family. But what does citezenship have todo with family values? It determines these values and set a standard for the entire of Americas hoi polloi. They havebeen important since, and even before, the very beginning of our civilization,and certainly since the founding of the United States of America. People of our period have fol lowed these beginnings ofthe ideas of family values and citizenship up until the present day. Todayhowever people are more diversified and separated in their ways only if they allshare similar values of the family. A nation, being of by and large sociallycompatible people, functions in a similar way as a family. The nation selectsits national family values by legislation which becomes law.
